Friday night we will kick off our event with bikepacking presentations from young local cyclists: Edyn Teige, Jackson Long, & River Shepard, followed by a panel discussion emceed by Rebecca Rusch! Edyn is competing in the Tour Divide and hoping to be the youngest person to complete it. Jackson is doing the Tour Divide as well and creating a documentary about the experience. River recently returned from bikepacking across Portugal, Spain, Italy, and New Zealand. Each of them have their own style of riding with different bikes and set-ups. Come learn from them and get inspired for your next adventure! Pizza will be available for purchase provided by Hanger Bread and drinks and light refreshments will be free for all.

Saturday morning Aaron Couch will lead us in a bikepacking workshop starting at 9am. Learn how to back for a bikepacking adventure. Get the what, where, and how!  At 10amAaron will switch gears to share a presentation on the Great Rift Dirt Tour, a epic adventure and remote ride in our own backyard around Craters of the Moon. At 11am participants will get a chance to tour Dark Sky Bikepacking gear library with Don Keller and checkout bags to join our overnight out warm springs! 4pm We will meet at YMCA South parking lot in Ketchum to roll out! We will have a campsite setup complete with firewood to make this first early spring adventure a pleasant experience!
